What A Teaser

Spring vacation is like the biggest teaser ever. After winter break, you start a new semester off and you love it because you get new classes and you actually couldn't wait to start school again because your family members back home were starting to bug anyways. The semester starts off great because you start off with a slow pace in your new classes, but then by the 4th or 5th week, the pace picks up so quickly. At first you can handle it but once the big projects start rolling in one after another you just think to yourself, I need a break, Spring Break! You got through January with no problems, but by mid- February, you've already started the count down. Once you start the count down, it seems as thought the days just creep by. You start to get more irritated with your teachers and your 3 hour classes start to feel like 30 hour classes. But once spring break does come around, you have the best time of your life. You feel so free and you go out and come in as you please without having to worry about class the next day. You feel like your in Wonderland for that whole week, wether you go anywhere or not. But just like the little teaser spring break is, right as your fun really begins, its over and you find yourself right back in your dorm room getting ready for class the next day. Spring break is just a taste tester for summer vacation. Right as you begin to taste the flavor, there's nothing left on the spoon. You wait almost three months for spring break to come by but when it does, it passes by like the speed of lightning. It is a stupid teaser that should last for at least to weeks. It should feel like it lasted as long as the time we waited for it to come.

Can't live With Them & Can Definetly live Without Them

Having a roommate has never been a problem for me. I am very much a people person, so I get along with people just fine when I want to. I think having a roommate helps with your people skills and it's a great way to meet new people. The first couple of weeks you get a feel of what your roommates flaws are and you kind of let it slide by because you don't want to create any tension. You let it slide by for a couple of weeks but there is only so much you can take until you snap. In my situation, I have three other roommates who I get along with very well. They are all sweethearts but they just have a bit of an issue of not cleaning up after themselves or their guests. I am a very neat and clean person and I have tried to keep my cool since the beginning of this semester. I have told them many times to clean up after themselves very nicely. They do it the first day after I tell them, then the next day it's to hell with me and my cleaning rules. Since I have been doing so well with my attitude and not snapping on spot like I normally do, I just let it go and clean it up myself. This has been working out okay but I am nobody's house girl and so lately I have alomost been reaching my boiling point. In just a couple of days, I know I am going to snap and when I do it is not going to be pretty. Once I open my mouth, I am not going to stop and I am really going to end up hurting someone's feelings forreal. Roommates are cool in the sense of getting to meet new people, having someone to talk to when you don't feel like going out, or when you need a favor. The idea of a roommate is cool but you can't live with them and you can definetly live without them.

The No Pants Dance

You would think that once winter came around, that girls would choose to start wearing pants more often, since this winter was quite dreadful. Nope, that is definetly not the case. A new trend has started, a trend that involves no pants. Nowadays, everybody seems to be wearing leggings but that is not the new trend I'm talking about. The new trend is pantyhose, its like Pantyhose mania out there. There are every type of pantyhose as well. There are different colored ones, there are the goth pantyhose, the hooker pantyhose, the holey pantyhose, thick pantyhose, thin pantyhose, the ones that match your skin color pantyhose. Any type of pantyhose you are looking for you will find it. It's a Pantyhose Pandemic. If you don't have a pair, your a square. Hurry up and get a pair so you can catch up with the times. Before wearing pantyhose was lame, it used to be something you wear when you where a child, or if you worked in an office place to wear with your suits. Now it has become an everyday leg wear. But who wouldn't want to go without have to wear pants everyday. Wearing pantyhose is a feeling of freedom, literally. It has gotten a little out of hand, but I'm down with the new trend, and I suggest you get with it too!

I Love Money

A new season of "I Love Money" has premiered and I think it is absolutely pathetic that these people work so hard just to lose. Don't get me wrong, I love the show and I will faithfully watch it every week, but I just think that it is so crazy that these people work so hard just to be so close to the money then have it snatched away from them. Usually when you are the strongest competitor in a game you have a great chance of winning. Not in this game, if you are the strongest competitor you will most likely be the first one sent home because the team players are the ones that choose who goes home, so it is an unpredictable game whether you are the strongest or weakest player. If I were a contestant, I would try to be as low key as possible and that is what these people don't understand. The loudest people and the people that are in everybodys business are the people that are most targeted. But I guess they will never figure it out because they were stupid enough to enter a game that you can never outsmart and getting disgraced worldwide while doing it.

All About Me!

My name is Omoyele Dada but I just go by Yele and I am 19 years of age. My birthday is January 30th so I will be 20 years old tomorrow. I am from Hoffman Estates and I graduated from Hoffman Estates highschool in 2007. I was born in Chicago but I have not always lived in Chicago. When I was nine years old, I moved to Canada and lived there for four years. When I was halfway through the eigth grade, we moved back. I also lived in London for six months because I really liked it when I went to visit my mother over summer vacation. I moved back after six months because I found that it was only good for vacation, and vacation only.
I am a Fashion Retail Management major, but I would like to minor in theatre. I like to shop, sleep, plan events, watch tv, and I absolutely love watching movies. I like all different genres of movies and I could watch movies all day. I also like playing sports such as volleyball, tennis, badminton, and track. I also love to organize things such as parties, closets, homes, just basically anything that needs organizing. I am a very outgoing and humerous person. I like to entertain and it takes a lot for me to get bored. I am always in to trying new things(please do not think of that comment in the wrong way). I am just a fun, lovable person and I get along with others very well.

Two Truths & One Lie:
1.) I love animals
2.) I have over 60 people in my family
3.) I absolutely hate the show "The Office".
